The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre exists to celebrate the widest spectrum of theatre art. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Patron Services Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Patron Services, the Patron Services Coordinator is a multi-faceted role that supports both the Box Office and Front of House in various administrative capacities, including:

Front of House

This position will act as a back up for the Front of House Manager and runs Front of House for up to two performances per week.

Volunteer Coordination

This position supports our Volunteers through communication, recruitment and scheduling.

Accessibility

This position supports Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre by focusing on Accessibility legislation and best practices, including training, policies and bringing forward ways to continue to make our theatre inclusive.

Box Office

This position supports our Box Office during high volume times, supporting our Tessitura ticketing application and managing charity ticket vouchers and donation requests.

Evening and weekend work required for opening nights, Front of House support, and special visits with donors and prospects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years proven experience working within a ticketing system, Tessitura experience an asset.
  • Front of House experience considered an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of performing arts environment essential.
  • Detail oriented, able to handle several tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
